The CBK official material reviewed on 12 September 2026 still identifies its June 2025 Open Banking Regulatory Framework announcement as a draft. A final standalone open-banking licence category was not confirmed in that review. Obtain the current CBK position before relying on a production API-access model.

CBK has also tested open-banking solutions through its Regulatory Sandbox, so open banking is within the regulator’s active policy perimeter.
