HOW TO USE FINPEEL
From a question to a documented decision.
Use FinPeel to find relevant sources, decide what they mean for your work and keep the follow-up in one place.
Ask a compliance question
Choose the regulator, describe your situation and read the short answer with its cited source excerpts. Check the scope and source date before applying it.
Ask compliance ↗Review a development
Browse selected regulatory updates and country-risk records. A profile match is a prompt to review, not a decision that a rule applies.
Review updates ↗Record your decision
Save an answer or update in My workspace. Add your rationale, policy or control reference, owner, target date and evidence reference.
Open my workspace ↗Prepare for a bank review
Document financial-crime risk ratings yourself, then select saved records for a printable evidence packet. It lists missing evidence and open actions before you share it.
Prepare a packet ↗Common questions
Can I use FinPeel without company details?
Yes. Create a personal tracker with a personal or work email, or use this device. Organisation and partner-bank fields are optional.
Does a matched update mean it applies to us?
No. Matching uses the scope you select. You decide applicability and record your rationale. The update feed is selected coverage, not a complete or real-time monitor.
Are risk ratings and evidence verified?
No. Financial-crime ratings, internal policy links, control descriptions and evidence references are entered by the reviewer. The evidence packet preserves those entries and flags missing references; it is not a certification.
Does country risk screen customers or transactions?
No. Country Risk describes jurisdiction-level measures and links to authorities. It does not screen people, companies, vessels, accounts or transactions.
Which obligations are in the register?
The obligation workbench currently contains selected draft extracts from the CBUAE payment-services regulation. Other regulators are available for research, but a complete obligation register for them is not claimed. See coverage and source status.
