Can a crypto exchange also provide payment services in Bahrain?

Only if it has the permissions required for both sets of activities. A CBB crypto-asset licence does not automatically authorise regulated payment services, even though both are supervised by the same regulator.

Bahrain’s single-regulator structure simplifies supervision but does not collapse distinct licence categories into one.

Map the exchange, custody, payment-account, transfer and merchant-facing functions separately and seek the CBB permissions required for each.
